One of my perennial companions since about the age of 11 has been a very battered molesworth.
Amazing, really, reading about 1950s schooldays in 1985. Mind you, most of my Latin comes from molesworth just as most of my history comes from 1066 And All That.
I don't the book or the author, but I can relate to finding a cherished childhood item as an adult. It feels so wonderful, right?
As any fule no, lookin bak on skool dayz are best with Molesworth

Oh joy! As Graham says, molesworth was the original chav. They'd have banned kids who wore caps in shopping malls in those days if the latter had existed.
