Break

I'm having a short break from blogging. There has been an awful lot to deal with over the last year, and I find I need to take some time out from the onslaught. I'm still ploughing through a lot of emails and I'm sorry that it is taking me some time to respond personally to everyone so thank you for your patience. Thank you for all the kind thoughts and thoughtful communications, thank you for the donations to charity in Mum's memory. Thank you for the support and care so many people have shown - both friends and strangers. It has really helped. I'll be back when I have had a bit of a rest and recharged my batteries.

Enjoy your rest. You deserve it. I remember how I felt when my mother left us. You need time to adjust and come to terms with everything that has happened. Me too at the moment so I cam empathize with how you feel.

I am sitting here with tears in my eyes. I read all about you before I went on holiday in August. I felt for you as my Mum had a stroke a few years back so I knew how you were feeling.

I have now caught up with all that has been happening and I am so, so sad for you. All the words you have written about your Mum are just so beautiful. She was a beautiful woman and she lives on in you and always will - you were truly blessed to have her as your Mum - but then so was she to have you for her daughter..

I'm OK. Thanks everyone. I've just got back from Norfolk where I've been going through Mum's stuff, which was incredibly sad and difficult. I haven't wanted to blog about how I feel and I have been too busy to switch on my PC much.

I 've linked to the campaign about free speech, I've updated on the 7/7 inquiry since Mum's death, but I'm going back to not blogging for a while, especially not personal blogging, because that's what works best for me personally right now: I need privacy and quiet time with my family.
